This Easter Sunday, Pastor Marcus Burget reflects on the highs and lows of Holy Week. After Jesus’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, chaos followed—the crowds turned on Him, His friends betrayed and denied Him, and He was falsely tried, beaten, mocked, and crucified, declaring, “It is finished” as He died. The disciples likely questioned whether He was truly the Messiah they had been anticipating. Yet, their story shows that faith isn’t the absence of doubt. The women went to the tomb uncertain, but still moved toward Jesus—and discovered He was risen. At Easter, believers still celebrate this truth: Jesus is alive, our resurrected Savior!
