In a New Year, people make resolutions, start gym memberships, and focus on being a better version of themselves. But with human effort, these things can only go so far. (Most of the time, they don’t get very far at all). There’s a better way: God wants to do the transformational work of healing us and making us new. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, that person is a new creation: The old is gone, the new has come!” (2nd Corinthians 5:17) This Celebrate Recovery series helps us to find God’s healing for hurts, habits, and hangups.
